Jacquelynne Fontaine - Soprano
Jacquelynne Fontaine, 27-year-old soprano from L.A. and winner of the Young Artists Competition last February, is performing as the soloist for this first concert of the season.
She cancelled her scheduled appearance at last year's concert to perform the role of Susanna in Le Nozze di Figaro with the Rogue Opera in Medford, Oregon. It proved to be an opportunity of a lifetime. She was invited back for several potential roles. In August she competed as a semi-finalist in the Competizione dell'Opera, an international opera competition.

Jing Wang - Violin
Jing Wang, Chinese-American violinist who is known for her unique artistry, enjoys an active career on the international music stage.
Wang began studying the violin with her father at age seven. She graduated from the Conservatory of Music and later was appointed its concertmaster. Later she toured China as a soloist and performed on radio and TV.
